Installation and updates

Current availability

There are no public installers, stable or beta releases, or publicly distributed updater. For the development status, see Getting started.

Minimum system requirements will be confirmed before the first public alpha. Windows ARM and Linux ARM64 are outside the initial support matrix.

Updating and uninstalling

Stable/beta channels, signature verification and recovery infrastructure are integrated; signing-key preparation and release validation remain pending. Installation, update and uninstall instructions will be published after the packages have been verified on each platform.

The initial automatic-update channel on Linux will be AppImage. For .deb, the plan is a package download that respects the system package manager.

Building the workspace currently does not install the application or register an automatic startup service.
